Each year the Corinthian Club . . . sponsors the Red Cross Drive . . . collects clothing for the National Clothing Drive . . . last year we gave a large sum to the YYar and Community Fund . . . sent fifty dollars to The Ocean City Home for Babies . . . took charge of collection for March of Dimes . . . contributed to the World Student Service Fund . . . in answer to a plea to American college students, we helped students ofthe world . . . we've sent books to the American Merchant Marine . . . last blarch we collected almost two thousand dollars for the Red Cross Campaign . . . last April, Corinthian Club gave one hundred dollars to the United Clothing Drive . . . we are planning to correspond with some needy French people . . . and to send them clothes . . . or other needy articles . . . whenever there is need . . . the Corinthian Club is always ready to help. lvith the season of wreaths and carols . . . comes our annual Christmas party . . . for the underprivileged children of Chambersburg . . . who otherwise would have . . . little or no Christmas . . . the gym fills with laughter . . . as we all join in playing . . . Drop- the- Hand- kerchiefn or Musical Chairs . . . then back to the Main Building . . . where a huge dinner awaits them . . . after filling their tummies . . . into the Solarium . . . forabiolly visit with Santa Claus . . . bulging stockings . . . which make eyes open wide in awe . . . the excitement ofopen- ing mysterious packages . . . around a sparkling Christmas tree . . . at the departure of these starry-eyed children . . . each Penn Hall heart . . . is filled with-ioy . . . that they have brought so much pleasure . . . to these not-so-fortunate children . . . in being a member of the Corinthian Club . . . there is tremendous satisfaction . . . we admire and respect . . . each ofits members. The Corinthian Club would be at a loss . . . without the efhcient leadership of our sponsor . . . hers is an endless task . . . all her efforts go forth . . . to make each drive . . . an overwhelming victory . . . she's never too busy to give advice . . . and encouragement to all . . . she's our . . .
