Play Bal! Coach Warren Hozapfel undertook his second year as Peninsulaas head baseball coach. Returning to help him were live of last year's star lettermen. They included se- niors, Chris Sather, Tim Bannon, Mike Skrivanich, and Rick Squance, and junior, Ray Shindler. A potentially strong group of sophomores also turned out to add their talent and gain experience for up com- ing seasons. Eighteen varsity players and twelve junior varsity players made for a good team as was demonstrat- ed by their practice spirit. Automation was illustrated by the use ofthe automat- F ic pitching machine that was used to raise batting aver- ages and Save arms at the same time Coach Warren Holzapfel demonstrates baseball techniques at practice.
