By coordinating their efforts, two successful dances were held at the be- ginning andthe end ofthe school year. To liven up the halls at school during the Christmas season, candy canes were sold by the many energetic representatives chosen from each class. Then in February SFA made it possible to send special telegrams for Valentines Day. The traditional big money making project was under- taken in the spring as members worked hard to sell radio ads, and the presentation of these over a local radio sta- tion proved to be exciting for all of those who participat- ed. Berend Bruns, this year's representative, from Peter Peterson School in Germany, proved to be an interesting person to know. He took an active part in student life and enjoyed performing with the Pen High Choir. He also proved to be a very capable student in his junior classes.
