Cirlis Club, a tradition of Peninsula High School was very active this year. This club consisted of the entire female population of Pen High. Leading this large group of girls was its president, Kris Allen. With such a large club it would seem almost impossible to ac- complish anything but nevertheless it did. For example, a canned food drive was sponsored by the Cirl's Club at Christmas for the benefit of needy fam- ilies. One of the main duties of the Girlis Club was to introduce new students, frosh and transfers, into Peninsula High. The performance of task was begun with a slumber party in the gymnasium, where a movie was shown and as usual no one got any sleep. The Girls Club sponsored the Homecoming dance, a light show.
