Donald Allyn Art The Faculty The beginning ofthe 1967-68 school year brought about a definite change in the regular routine around Peninsula High School. A new class time schedule was established and operated on a rotating system, which added a new variety to the school year. Two new faces were also added to the faculty, Mr. Milton Boyd and Mr. Tor johannessen. The school board held meetings and worked hard to help acquire needed materials for our school. Due to the tragic death of Mr. Don Polworth, a highly respected and liked person in the community and a newly elected member of the school board, Mr. Ray Payne was appointed to the active board consisting of Mr. Hollis Small, Mr. james Widrig, Mr. Helenes Frei- berger, and Mr. Loren Murray. This year, through the efforts of Mr. Iverson Cozort and the oflice of Ex- tended Education, a Reality Therapy Workshop was held forthe teachers in the district. Dr. William Glasser, a Professor at U.C.L.A., spoke on the new innovations for teaching students to think. One of his suggestions was the possibility of a non-grading system.
