SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS: Standing Marcia Smith, Shirley Dadis- man, Seated jy Watland, jim Wright. Seniors showed their authority. They led the school, not only in student government and clubs, but in sports, assemblies, and other happenings around school. Guiding the seniors were jim Wright, president, jay Seniors Reflect on The Senior Class began the 67-68 school year with a change in attitudes. It was their final year, a year to prove themselves to teachers and friends. Next year the big transition would come, the change from high school to a new life in a variety of ways. But most students were ready. Their four years of activities here at Peninsula gave them a strong foundation for the step into the world outside. Feelings were mixed, friendships became stronger while others faded away, and few in the Class of '68 would ever forget the projects completed as a group. First came the junior Prom, then the Senior Ball, and all of the other events in which this active group participat- ed. Watland, vice-president, Shirley Dadisman, secretary, and Marcia Smith, treasurer. Class advisors were Mr. Ernest Miller and Mrs. Patricia Black. May came and brought with it the preparation for that final event . . . Graduation on May 31. Some faced it with hesitation, while others were eager to complete their time here. Reflections of the past 12 years brought back both joy and sadness. It was a time to again set down hopes, ideals, and dreams. The future was handed to the Graduates, and the decision was now theirs. Homecoming Queen Kris Allen and Steve Willis. Seniors Randy Buckell, Butch Odegaard, and Mike Skrivanich enjoy the Student Center.
