Mr. 0 yd leads the Choir for the NONETTES: fFrom L to RJ Donna Waterland, Martha Marcum, Vicki Ford, Claudia Wade Cindy McGugin Vicki Giles, Patty Crai , , g, Vivian Spadoni, Sherri Hellerud. The Nonettes, a select group of girls from the choir, make up another one of the small performing groups. This female ensemble often performed separately from the choir at such places as Madigan hospital, and the Masonic Temple. These girls practice on their own time and many after school rehearsals were called before the group per- formed. The Girl's Glee, another all female group, operated a bit differently. These performers were all freshmen and a class period during the day was directed by Mr. Bruce Brummond. An earnest but sometimes frustrated choir struggles ev- ery note of the Way.

A somewhat larger group than the Nonnettes was the Swingsters, an enthusiastic bunch of students who got together and worked up popular show tunes and swing- type music. The smallest but not the least was the folk group. lt was made of only seven teenagers, all of whom played guitars and sang.
