Headed by president Karen Brady, Red Cross spent the better part of the year doing things for those less fortunate. Mr. David James, advisor, helped the members help others. The club made fudge for the patients at Madigan Hospital every two weeks, and sent party boxes to Madigan and Western State Hospitals. Along with other high schools, members also attended Hostess parties with Red Cross volunteers at hospitals. Unfortunate children were not forgotten, either. The children of Remann Hall were entertained during the year by parties put on by the JRC. members. The club also held its second annual entertainment assembly at the beginning of the year. lt was a huge money-making suc- cess, with the juniors winning the award. You can see Red Cross Keeps itself busy. lt's a good thing. Red Cross meetings were held in the Music Room and were conducted by pres ident Karen Brady.
