Active Heads Judsow ' mf clwsew as '66-'67 A. Q. B. Pfmideub Youth in action - that was the Associated Student Body of Peninsula High School. Leadership was provided by the ten-member Student Coun- cil. Judson Klinger, Student Body President, ran the show. Other officers were Ron Macdonald, Vice-President, Ann Greeley, Sec- retary, and Sue Schillinger, Treasurer. After much planning, they carried out many important activie ties including activity card sales, ushering at Back-to-School night, sponsoring the annual candy sale, decorating the doors for Christmas, and so on. One of their maior contributions was finishing the student center, making it a much more comfortable place for the stu- dents to relax. The last function of the council was to oversee the election of the officers for '68. Another active year for the Student body was completed. '67 Student Council, Judson Klinger, Ron Macdonald, Ann Greeley, Sue Schillinger, John McDonell, Margaret Reed, George Williams, Mike Vei' tenhans, and Phil Serka. Tony Morrone-absent. ASB. Who did he take it to? The Seniate of course. Commonly called the gripe group , Senate handled student problems and suggestions. Elected from their home rooms, each Senate member represented a portion ofthe stu- dent body. They listened to their leader, Flon Macdonald, as he gave advice concerning the numerous problems that arose throughout the year, Jackie Randall took notes and Mr. Cozort advised. All in all, the Senate proved to be an effective gripe group .
