junior Play SEATED left to rnght Putnam Lsttle Wesley Ramsdell Del Wetmore Beverly Carlson Leslue Ulsh Glorra Frnney Kathleen Ander son Tom Orser STANDING Emery Graham Joyce Elluott Loss Satterlee On the eve of November Sth the Junior Class presented Out on a Lomb a comedy un three acts lt was a great success under the dlrectlon of Mrs Thomas The premise of the play was Don t blame others for your own maladgustments but grab your own boot straps and yank' The conflict of the play was Teens versus parents So here ns the baslc Idea of Out on a Llmb and the excitement and comedy which are centered about Blllle Weber She IS the l8 year old daughter who rs an enthusuastlc member of the S P P Society for the prevention of Parents Blllle and her frlends Push Pringle Bird Bram and Punk are typncal teenagers who fund that every once ln a whale they appreciate a respite from their parents Everything gets off to a bug start when Charley Cralg a handsome new boarder an the Weber home admnres Bullle s sketch for greetlng cards and suggests that they take samples to the county seat to obtaun a Incense so that she can sell them Punk the jealous boyfrlend sees Blllle and Charley drlvlng away from the Weber home with an overnlght case a weddrng cake as delivered to the Weber home by mustake Blllle leaves a note tellxng her parents that they wrll be surprised when she and Charlie return and so naturally everyone ln the town belueves they have eloped The excutement and tension of wautlng with flowers and race for the happy couple added to the humor of Punk and anxlety of mother and a sub rosa romance between Aunt Mabel and Professor Doden hoff make the play end with a flourish CHARACTERS REGINA WEBER Glorua Fmney MARK WEBER Putnam Llttle BILLIE llSOBELl WEBER Kathleen Anderson MABLE HYDE Loes Satterlee PROFESSOR DODENHOFF Wesley Ramsdell ORVILLE GRAY Every Graham PUSH RRINGLE Joyce Ellrott BIRD BRAIN Beverly Carlson CHARLES CRAIG Thomas Orser DOROTHY MATTINGLY Del Wetmore COOKIE Leslue Ulsh DIRECTOR Mrs Thomas PROMPTER Rae Nell Strnckland , I l t N' .'.
