The plot comprised of an egotistical old man who tries to keep his secretary from marrying a promising young newspaper man. He almost attains his goal when a lovely Hollywood star arrives to lure the newspaper man out of town. With help, the secretary wins back her young man and the play ends happily. In this scene radio announcer Dave Nelson is trying to dispose of john Fossatti, who is delaying the annual Christmas broadcast. Trimming Kent's beard for the big performance keeps Judy well occupied. For these reasons much stress is applied on our sports activities. Assistant coaches Bob White and George Rasmussen devoted much of their time and effort in helping Mr. Requa turn out a suc- cessful football squad. Mr. Rasmussen, B squad football coach, made a good showing with four wins and three losses for the Broncs. :H 4, V' Mr. Requa came to P. H. S. in 1950 as foot- ball coach. I-le has been very successful, as we have won the Blue Mountain Conference in '54, '55, and in '56 we placed third in the state. In 1957 we placed fourth in the Blue Mountain Conference.
