BASKETBALL Pendleton High had a new basketball coach for the l955-56 hoop season, Coach Dale Warberg, who is a graduate of Eugene High School and the University of Oregon, has done a remarkable job in his first year here by leading our Buckaroos to state to take eighth place in the tourney. PHS. is proud of Mr, Warberg for his outstanding leadership of our tearn, of which we are also doubly proud. He led the Bucks through the Blue Mountain Conference and through the final playoffs at Eugene. Mr. Warberg has played on the Eugene High School and University of Oregon basketball teams. Before coming to Pendleton High, he ably coached the .lohn Day team. We look forward to having Mr, Warberg here again next year and for as long as he will stay.
