The Girls' League spelled activity this year, as usual, Under the guiding hands ot Mrs Gertrude Simp- son! adviser, and Judy Forsythe, president, the League has once again had a year of bustling activities. The girls arranged and held their annual Mother-Daughter Ban- auet, held in the Hawthorne Multi-Purpose room! and the Dad-Daughter Chili Feed. Not only active in the social whirl at Pendleton l-ligh, the Girls' League has done more than its share tor the good of the community, Participating in the March of Dimes, the girls put forth a lot ot effort to the worth-vvhile cause by selling Polio Fighter balloons and holding a dance, from vvhich the proceeds went to the March at Dimes.
