Out of their generous stock of leaders they chose Sam Haynes as presidentg Louis Thorne as vice presidentg Bert Hanson as secretaryg Jack Kinneman as treasurerg and Sally Volstorff and Bob Blything as cheerleaders. The annual junior mixer was a bright spot in P.H.S. activities and their Thanks- giving assembly brought hearty cheers from onlookers. They're a progressive, real gone class. Besides the annual Mother- Daughter Banquet, Father-Daughter Banquet, Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, and T.B. Seals, this organization played host to the Tri'State Girls' League conference. Selling candy in the lower hall, passing out football and basketball programs, and revision of the League Constitution, were also success- ful projects. Carlene Inman, president, with the aid of Mrs. Gertrude Simpson, advisor, and her ten standing Committees completed the year successfully. GIRLS' LEAGUE COUNCIL-C. Kerns, K. Kilkenny, S Helfrecht, S.
