Smith TRACK This sport is fast becoming popular among Pendleton fans. The squad did well last year in face of strong competition, and we are looking forward to equally successful teams in the future. ' During past years, Coaches johnson and Franklin have developed several outstanding track men. Three of these, Craig of '36, Smith of '37, and Wilt of this year, have qualified for state meets in various events. As there are many freshmen and sophomores on the team this year, Pendleton will undoubtedly produce nofa few prominent thinlies during the next -few years. Athletes are urged to participate in track, as it will be a major sport at -Pendleton in the future. M SA... V A v, H , W1 W .
