GOLDEN OPPORTUNITIES AT P. H. S. The forty-niners of a cen- tury ago showed almost un- believable courag-e and deter- mination in seeking the thing that was uppermost in their minds: GOLD! We, the forty- niners of today at P.H.S. are not seeking gold in the sense of riches, but golden oppor- tunities which we may ob- tain through higher educa- tion. We and those who must follow us must continue the search for golden opportuni- ties of the future.
