They were busy sell- ing candy and having bake sales to earn money for their Senior Class trip. In N.C. History Class, they worked on projects representing early N.C. colonial life, keeping them on display for students and parents to see. The Class took the Historic Wil- mington Walking Tour. Hobbies were discussed with each student bringing his or her own hobby to school. They learned how to spin wool into thread and were amazed by Anthony Medlin's feats of magic. The hobbies dis- played were informative and educa- tional. A school newspaper, Raider Rap, was published by Carla Schutt, Tammy Lea, Karla Roth- man, Terri Cvadow, Sandy Shingle- ton, and Tina Turner as a class pro- ject. To quote a student, We're bril- liant, we're fine, we're the Class of '89.
