HARVEST FESTIVAL Pender Academy s 1983 Harvest Festival was a huge success' Over S9 O00 00 was cleared from our an nual money making event Included in this years Harvest nowned Barbeque Pork and Chick en Dinner Bazaar Bake Sale Country Store Grandmothers Booth Library Booth and K 3 Handmade Crafts Entertainment was provided by many dancing groups Numerous games such as Duck Pond Bean Bag Toss Bmgo Dart Throw Drink Toss Golf Fishing Booth and a Spook House were enjoyed by the kids and adults Two sides of beef and a set Our Festival Contests did very well raising around S1800 O0 Win ners were Prmce Dexter Sholar First Grade Princess Amy Thomp son Third Grade King Brad Baker Fifth Grade and Queen jennifer Medlrn Fifth Grade High School winners were Sharon Harper Miss Pender Academy and Keith Casha Mr Raider Legs For the second consecutive year Robert Curly Harvest Day Our Pender Academy family of parents and students worked very hard to help Co Chairpersons june Swmson and Sarah Creech create a fun filled day for all , , . . .
