Since our entrance into P.A.H.S. she has proved most understanding and friendly. Her willingness to help us start on our journey led us to put faith in ourselves and never fear an oncoming task. Trzbzzfe This year, 1949, marks not only the graduation of another class from Pen Argyl High School, but also the retirement of one of its faculty members. In her years of teaching, her understanding and cooperative personality, as well as her instructive abilities, have etched their way deeply into our hearts. It is only fitting and proper, therefore, that we, the class of 1949, pay tribute to Miss Daisy V. Shannon, as a token of our appreciation and remembrance. 5
