Under the guidance of Miss Daisy Shannon and Mr. Salvatore Mazzeo, class rings were ordered and received in the spring. The class dance, held in the early spring, was highly successful. Stopp During another class meeting the class colors, Blue and Gold, were chosen, and the types of caps, pennants, and emblems to be selected were discussed. On a later date the class officers chose May 6 and May 20 as the dates for the junior Prom and junior Banquet respectively. Activities during the year were the annual magazine subscription drive in which this year's junior class set a new record for sales at a total of 352226, the annual junior Prize Speaking Contest, and the frequent participation of class members in chapel programs. 28
