KEl1'H NICHOLS We selected our class motto, flower, and colors and were very proud to think we were Juniors In order to raise funds, we sold magazine subscriptions, with prizes being won by jane Williams and William Broad. A public dance was held in February in the high school gymnasium. Several members of our class took part in junior Prize Speaking, on April twelfth, nineteen hundred forty-five, the winners being awarded prizes. Our junior Prom was held on April twentieth in the high school gymnasium. A Grand March was held and it was very successful. Our last activity while we were juniors was our banquet held at Pocono Manor on May the eighteenth. Thus our year as Juniors was ended. 'WVe now became Seniors, At last! My! how the last two years flew past. Diploma was our only thought The reason why we all were taught. Sixty-eight returned this year, we had lost several, but extended our best wishes to them all. I' ' R I lD lVlALI-I We sold refreshments at the Pen Argyl-Catasauqua football game and later sold magazine subscriptions in order to raise money. Public dances were held on December twentieth, February twentieth and April twelfth in the high school gymnasium. VVe held our Senior Banquet on May third in the Poconos and our Senior Prom on May twenty-fourth in the high school gymnasium. We are eagerly looking forward to class day, baccalaureate, and commence- ment, when our school years will end. Thus our years in high school end. Next, we held a swimming party and Doggie Roast at the Bangor Park. It was enjoyed by all who attended. To bring this year to a conclusion, we held our Sophomore Hop on May the nineteenth in the high school gymnasium. It was a very enjoyable event and we will long remember it.
