Pembroke came alive m one of its few rare moments as all those present rejoiced in their new-found joy of seeing a team — organized, determined, and unyielding — achieve the ultimate in sportsmanship combined with a winning formula to reach a goal worthy of their ability. Oldies but goodies joined in with those of us still growing intellectually to cele- brate the joyous event. 16 fi 8rB8g«BlM i aa ' I ' ll have them at your place by five. In with the Class of 73 . . . With the ending comes the 1972 Indianhead which has endeavored to capture the academic year at P.S.U. We have tried to highlight its spirit and activities through Greek Week ' 71, Homecoming, Sports, Organizations, Greeks, and Classes. I have thoroughly enjoyed working on this yearbook and without the wonderful help of my staff, I would never hove been able to complete it. At this time I would like to personally thank the sports editor, Steve Topp; the organization editor, Joy White; and the class editors, Cathy Summers, Barbara Malie, and Norma Cooke. The four I most want to thank are my assistant ed- itor, Steve Burriss; our advisor, Mrs. Doris Johnson; our photographer, Mr. Elmer Hunt; and Mr. Ed Goldston, of the Hunter Publishing Co. As I close this 1972 Indianhead, it is with the hope that in the future it will bring each of you many happy memories. 240 Kothy Person Burriss Editor 4
