All contestants must have main- tained a 1.5 average through the previous semester. Mr. Frank Swinger, II, a member of the Baptist Student Union and the president of the senior class, has participated in a va- riety of campus activities, including intra- mural basketball and softball. Mr. Swinger has served on the Boys Dorm Council and was vice-president of his junior class. Mrs. Catherine D. Neal attended Wtngate and PfeifTer Colleges before coming to Pembroke State. At Pembroke, Mrs. Neal has been a Dean ' s List student and a mem- ber of S. N. E. A. Mr. William Richard Davis has proven his potential as an athlete by playing profes- sional baseball for the Cleveland Indians. While at Pembroke State, Mr. Davis was a leader of the baseball team, having been elected co-captain in his junior year by his fellow teammates. Colleges And Universities 27
