Are Honored By Mr. Jerry Keen, a four-year member of Westminister Fellowship, has served on the Student Council and as a delegate to the State Student Legislature — House of Repre- sentatives. Mr. Keen, an elementary educa- tion major has accepted a teaching position and hopes to go into guidance counseling. Miss Dianne Carpenter, a French major, is a Dean ' s List student and a college marshal. A transfer to Pembroke State from Wingate College, Miss Carpenter is a member of Le Cerole Francais and hopes to teach French upon her graduation. Mr. Jimmy Turbeville, a four-year member and previous vice-president of the Young Democrats Club, is currently the club rep- resentative to the Student Council. Mr. Turbeville has also been a member of the C.C.U.N.

Outstanding Seniors Mr. Tony Bass, since his transfer to Pem- broke State in his sophomore year, has been an outstanding drama student, star- ring in such productions as Hamlet and Our Town. A Student Government member this year, Mr. Bass hopes to pursue a career in dramatics following graduation. Miss Gloria Moore, well-known on the campus for her role as soloist in the Swingers, has served as head dormitory counselor throughout her senior year. Miss Moore, who looks forward to teaching music and voice, is a member of the Music Educators Association. Mr. Jack Dunston, III, an active partici- pant in all phases of campus life, has been a member and president of Circle K Inter- national and has served o n the track, soc- cer, and wrestling team. Always a Dean ' s List student, Jack has joined Alpha Psi Omega, the Radio Club, and C.C.U.N. 24

Mr. Thomas Martin, a true student leader, holds one of the most honorable and cov- eted offices on campus . . . Student Coun- cil president. Tommy , a Dean ' s List stu- dent, has also served as sophomore class president and Student Council vice-president. Miss Kathleen Doxtader, a Student Council representative, transferred to Pembroke State for her junior year.
