RALPH DILLINGHAM WELLONS We, the senior class of the year nineteen hundred and forty-nine, when searching for an individual to whom to dedicate this yearbook, unanimously decided that this honor should go to our beloved presi- dent, Dr. Ralph Dillingham Wellons, who has been our guide and counselor for these many years. To you, Dr. Wellons, we owe a debt of gratitude for your unswerv- ing loyalty to all that is good in college life. To you we owe a grate- ful thanks for the progress that our college has made during the past seven years and even more, we owe you a debt of gratitude for that growth that promises to come in the future. We leave these halls with deep regret that we will not be here to enjoy these improvements but we trust that we may look ahead with anticipation, as well as look backward with pride, to greater accomplishment under your guiding hand.
