Class Hlstory le, the Senior Class of '57 have reached the top in our high school years we look back, these events seemed inportant to us Beginning as neek, shy little Freslmen, we are leaving P H S as graduates wiser and nore self assured In our Freshnen year, having a total of seventeen nembers, we choose lr Lee for our class advisor Cnr president was Jerry Jenkins and vice president was Allen Durls Chrol Bishop was our secretary and the treasurer was Roger Sudeth Elected for the Student Council was Jean Carviou For our annual Honecoming celebrations we choose Rita French as our queen candidate, Carol Bishop was runner p Uur float took second place in the Homecoming parade Our Freshmen Initiation also stands out ln the happenings of this year Returning as Sophcmores the following year, we felt nore at ease with our upper classmen The results of our election returns were Jerry Jenkins, president, lill French, vice president, Loretta Lytle, secretary, mester Seidel, treasurer the Student Council this year le were sad at losing largaret Jossart, Lloyd Bilsabeck, and Jerry lathias, but welcomed Loretta Lytle, our only gain, leaving us fifteen in our Sophonore year We choose Loretta Lytle as our queen candidate for the Honeccming festivities, Jean Carvlou was the runner up Rita French was chosen by Gary Snith as Pron Queen for the Junior Pron of '56 Aa Juniors, we were all anxious to get our class rings It had taken eleven years to be able to wear then, and we were all very proud of then High spirited, and enthusiastic, we began the year with thirteen nembers Our two advisors were lisa Drown and lr lleidenback Jerry Jenkins held his third year as president and lill French was again elected vice president, Loretta Lytle aa secretary and master Seidel as treasurer Our Badger Boy and Girl Representatives were lyron lilson and Loretta Lytle Our Bonecoming queen candidate was Carol lishcp and Sharon lcdorkle was runner up mr float took only 4th place, tho we felt we deserved nore Dill trench Joined Jean Carviou and lyron lflscn in the Student Council Ie were sorry to lose Jeannine Schlefelhein and Roger Sndeth le had thirteen nembers in our Junior class Seniors, finally At last we have really reached the top of the ladder At our last election of officers Harold Hertlg was our president, Jerry Jenkins was vice president, Jean Carvlou was secretary and master Seidel was treasurer Loretta Lytle Joined the other three senior nenbers ln representing the Student Council Ie chose Jean Carvieu as our Honecomfng queen and lvelyn mitko was runner up Our llonecomlng float took third place in the parade this last year Our class advisors this year: lr Schuh and lr liasonnette This year we lost lalter Buchner, but gained Evelyn mitko and Yvonne Bfssennette, which left us with fourteen in our Senior year Our Homecoming dance was again held in the Dunbar Town Hall le d1dn't nind these inconveniences because all this tina we were watching the growth of our new gyn Sone of the brightest events in our Senior year were our class trip, laccalau reate and naturally Graduation CDlPLI.1'l'80P'l'HlPll'l' 12 O . Class Prophecy This being June 1, 1962, the Senior Class of 1957 is gathered here at R:lta's Bendevous , the world fanous nightclub at lianl leach, Florida The owner ls a 1957 graduate of P B S , Rita French She has invited us to have our first class reunion here so that she could serve us fresh lobster, for which she is fanous I and ny wife Clrs Schuh? are honored guests Appearing as guest stars, we find the fanous Jerry Jenkins and his Champagne llasic, featuring lvelyn Chitko as the soloist As we were dancing to Bubbles in the line , Jerry's thene, we lat Prof lilllan French and his wife, the forner loretta Lytle While we were talking, we discovered that Bill is the scientist whose acconplishnents at Pan Bon lon University are known across the nation Loretta added shyly they were the proud parents of triplets They told us that earlier in the evening they had not Jean Carvlou, who is now a nurse in a nisslon in Africa, and that she is engaged to larry the grandson of I F Goodrich Ie nowed on to the next table where Allen lhxris was seated le learned that he had non several gold nedals in the Olynpics for swining le told us that he had received his training when he was top frognan in the lavy, and that he is still an eligible bachelor Next to Allen was Carol lishop, his date for the night She is now secretary to the president of the United States le discovered she hadn't lost any of her charn Her boss cane to the table and we talked with our forner class president, Harold Bertlg, who had nade good and is now the president of the nation Harold is now aarrled to his childhood sweetheart Ooning through the door we saw Sharon lcdorkle and Yvonne lissonnette Yvonne is employed as a physical therapist in Sharon's orphange They told us that Bernice Barker is now Irs ldward lrunhke, and that they have a fanily of four le saw lernice latter on, and discovered that she was very happy lyron lilsom and Chester Seidel are tied chanpion drivers :Ln the Indianapolis 500 nile race duet was still unmarried, while like had already settled down with a girl from Niagara Ie, ny wife and I, both agreed that it was a wonderful reunion and that this fine class of 1957 had certainly nade good le returned hone the next day with a load of happy nqories A TLIIHTS Ol' ZLDA ILICTBIC 1 3
