The stadium was soon the scene of hundreds of enthusiastic spectators as the Panthers kicked off to the Wildcats. After a long drive to the Wildcat eleven- yard line, a pass from Nlann to Watson provided the score of 6-O. But the Panthers fell behind in the second period when the Wild- cats scored two T.D.'s and a conversion. The half ended with the score 13-6 in favor of the Wildcats. The second half started with a fumble recovery by Panther team member Cosper. After another drive to the 16, a pass from Nlann to Dobbs predicted the victorious score of 14-13. Twenty tense minutes later the horn sounded to prove the score a reality -- and the night faded into oblivion in everything except for the minds of the Panther fans. THIS IS OUR SPORT! The reason for stealing the last breath, I had S0 much Yef that l Wanted T0 See, No words can describe and no words can say ' wanted to find that rea' pefson - me! How the forming of life affects the taking away. Why, God, when I had so much to give? Tears - they are gone - after we weep' I was a teenager, and I wanted to live. But memories will last for us to cherish and to keep, There was so much more that I wanted to do The longing for our deceased ones will leave us never Before I came hereto meet with Yeu, But God will hold them in His arms forever. -Kim Stewart l wanted to feel the warmth of the sun, To dream each dream one by one, I wanted to see that great ocean blue And to touch the rainbow with its colored hue. Lord, help me please to understand That living and dying are part of Your plan, For as l stand here now and see Your face I realize it's because of Your love and grace. Please comfort my loved ones And each special friend, and Help them to remember, Lord, That one day we'll meet again. -Lisa Abercrombie 1Dedicated by the Sophomore Classj Gqcfvezfiismanfa Qsfogf. . .Cs7gOf,.ff Awgofz qjouz clfomatown Jlflazcganta Gini TUCKER BROTHERS CCDNTRACTING CCJMPANY KENNETH W.
