Foreword Pell High means to many hearts many things of life Day -to-day living, the joys, the strife Of ball games, parades, floats, and queens, Pep meetings, rallies, and hectic scenesg A snake dance, a prom, success or defeat, Precis, we write, and ice cream, we eat, Bonfires, trumpets, the beat of a drum, Photographers, yearbooks, typewriter hum, All of the memories, thoughts, and tears, Pass on to another through the endless years. Gym shoes, tickets, and chewing gum, Report cards, demerits, the daily hum-drum Of term papers, Spotlights, and absentee blanks, Fretting and stewing about senior class ranksg The silence, the noise, confusion or cheers - All of the mem'ries pass on through the years. A conference, the flag, ten-minute breaks, The passing time with minor heartachesg Baccalaureate, commencement, cap and gown, The excitement which rises all over town, A step to the future with no definite goal, Still through the years the memories hold.
