Conversation with friends in the hall Md Bviliratiinn With grateful appreciation and sincere respect we, the Senior class of Pell City High School, dedicate this '66 gym our principal, Roy E. Mann. Three years ago our school opened its doors to both Mr. Mann and to the present-day seniors. Since that time, he has been responsible for strengthen- ing the life of every student and has proven himself to be an ideal leader, an impartial judge, and a dedicated friend. As problems arise, the Pell High faculty, as well as the students, can always depend on Mr. Mann for advice, guidance, and support. For this inspiring and unselfish service, we offer this small token of our esteem. 'iTfi2ri'.i4'3i fl .- If v. Dear Friends, Fellow Students, and Classmates: The fondest memories of my school career will be those received this year while serving as your Student Council President. With the experience I have gained, I feel I can face the future better prepared. I will always remember this year and the small part I have played in making PCHS the kind of school of which you and I are proud. We on the Student Council hope it has been a successful year for each student and faculty member and that each will treasure memories of this year. Reed Alexander Dear Students: Growth is sure. The type of growth you have is determined largely by you. You should give your body the kind of care it needs for healthy living. You should feed your mind on things that are high spiritually as well as intellectually. We are proud of you, the students of Pell City High School, for the evidence of de- sirable growth that has been exhibited by your citizenship, academic achievements, and your spiritual and physical growth. We hope that Pell City High School has kindled a flame that will compel each of you to continue desirable growth physically, mentally, and spiritually throughout your lives. Sincerely yours, Roy E. Mann, Principal igrupumil Enniur Egigh anti Egmnwzium 5,, ..E,.- , ,W -te-q,,.rm,. ' J if f .Z The contract has been given to Scott Brothers of Alexander City for the construction of a new junior high school and a gymnasium for use by both the senior and junior high schools. It is hoped that the gymnasium will be completed and ready for use when school opens in the fall of 1966. The gymnasium is the result of dreams and hopes by Pell City citizens for many years. This gym will be regulation size with sufficient space for both varsity and physical education class use. When the junior high grades transfer into the new building, there will be improved curriculum in both junior and senior grades. 3115111111111 CLARA MAYS, Number of years at PCHS seven, Hobby, feeding children, Favorite food, steak, Pet peeve, childreng Motto, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
