Mrs. Aamodt teaches us bus safety tech- The Chicago Skyline Eric Miller snoozes on the bus On Friday, May 8, 1987, hard work finally paid off for the concert choir. After week upon week of selling can- dy bars and notepad holders, and begging for donations, their dreams of going to Chicago finally came true. On the way, the choir was scheduled to do concerts in Underwood, Battle Lake, and Osakis. The bus arrived in Chicago Saturday afternoon. From the lobby, the Ameri- cana Congress looked luxurious; there were, however, some disappoint- ments. While in Chicago, students toured the Adler Planetarium, the Field Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Science and Industry, and the Sears Tower. Choir members also had a river- boat ride. The bus returned to Pelican Rapids on Monday, May 11, 1988 after 14 hours of bus-riding fun.
