FROM PRINCESS TO QUEEN From being chosen Homecoming Princess of 1971, to being crowned Homecoming Queen of 1982, Kay is the first princess ever to go on and also become the Homecoming Queen. The coronation was made even more memorable by the speech given by Mr. Aamodt inspiring us to make the most of our high school years. Each day was made special because of the participation of student and faculty in the days which included; Dress-Up Day, Physical Day, Grub and Wild Hair Day, Cowboy and Indian Day, and Color Day with prizes given out to the winners of each day. The Homecoming festivities began with the coronation on Monday night, while Tuesday night was topped off by a victory for the volleyball team followed by the annual bonfire. The excitement for Wednesday was the 8-0 win for the senior girls in the Powder Puff game to remain undefeated. The week ended perfectly with the victory for the football team over Staples with a 34-30 win. Following the victorious game was the Homecoming dance, the first dance of the year, with music by Wyzdom. homecoming 11
