ART The Art Department offers an extensive, interesting program which helps the student to develop his skills and to increase his apprecia- tion of art. During the course of this four-year program, the areas of study are from the simple, basic art elements to advanced oil painting. Various aspects of art covered in- clude designing, commercial art, the crafts, drawing and painting in a variety of mediums, the study of American painters and art history. B.E.: Northwestern. B.A.. M.M. The Music Department includes a number of choruses and choirs of various levels in which the student advances according to his ability and dedication. Beginning ' in Freshman Chorus, the student may move on to such groups as Sophomore Choir, Sophomore Voice, Junior Girls ' Voice, or A Cappella Choir. The band, open to any student who plays a wind, reed, or percussion instrument, plays an important and colorful part in school activi- ties such as football games, basketball games, and pep rallies.

BUSINESS The business department offers extensive high-quality pro- grams designed to train students who want to go on in some type of business after graduation. Areas of study include short- hand and typing, stenography, clerical typing, bookkeeping, record keeping, and general business.
