With sailing as one of her favorite sports. Ranch spends much of her time on Norwegian waters. FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT From the fiords of Norway to PCHS. This describes Randi Sanden, our exchange student. Sent here from her home town of Moide, Norway, through the A.F.S., she has completed more than ten years of study at Norwegian schools where she studied algebra, physics, and French. The year she spends at Pekin High will count in her schooling. Between her six days of school in Norway, Randi enjoys such sports as swimming and sailing. In the winter her family goes to their mountain hut, where they enjoy mountain climbing and skiing. Her town is a tourist attraction and is called the town of roses. Norwegian girls are liked because of their friendliness, and this holds true for Randi. She likes Pekin High, but admits it is easy compared to the harder Norwegian schools. While in Pekin, Randi stayed with the Hilton Johnson family of Audobon Drive.
