Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert are our successors to this flat, my dear. ' CONTEST PLAY The Broivning Version, Pekin High ' s contest play, won first place at district. Directed by Miss Harrod, the play related the events of a retiring and disliked schoolmaster of backward boys at a private school in England. In the cast were Jim Eichelberger as Andrew Crocker-Harris; Valarie Harlan as his wife Millie; Jim Ramey as Frank Hunter; Joe Ubben as John Taplow; Rich Schmiechen as Dr. Frobisher; and John Rowan and Julie Yock as the Gilberts. But I thought — my %vife thought, that an exception was made some five years ago ... You must forgive this exhibition of weakness, Taplon. The truth is I have been going through rather a sttain lately. I came unto the room this afternoon to find Taplon giving an imitation of you to Frank here.
