In the autumn, a student ' s thoughts turn to studies and the activities of the approaching year. A Time for Learning bus rides and relaxing study upon the cool, fall grass. No one can explain the many complexities of a student ' s life, but they are there . . . the fine balance between personal and public maturity. Incoming freshmen somewhat fearfully anticipate their first year of high school life. ■ Upper-classmen help organize plans for registration day. STUDENT LIFE . . . Eager voices ride on silent winds ... a student enters high school and a new door of learning, friendship, and adventure opens. Through the hustle of registration he comes, bedraggled, tired, and possibly frightened, but time mends the way. With the advent of autumn comes the routine of Students arrive in the morning to start another day of learning. 10

A Time for Maturing tion so important to his future. Yet, in the passing from class to class, time is expended for an occa- sional pause before a mirror while night time car- ries the fun of adolescence with a call from the favorite boy friend. In winter, work progresses, sometimes extend- ing to the aid of people out of school. And . . . when school ends, the student may shut his eyes, but never his mind to the fun, adventure, and knowledge learned in the year.
