1 F o CContinued from page 171 The Chinks started their season by downing a strong Port Madison, lowa team, 25 to U. They won their next game by defeating Richwoods, 35 to 7, before traveling to East Peoria to down this scrappy eleven, 19 to 5. Canton proved easy as Pekin rolled over them, 41 to 6. Then the Chinks lost two in a row. An undefeated Manual team beat them, 13 to U, and another strong team, Galesburg, 27 to 15. After the only two losses of the year they went back to their wine ning ways by taking their last four games, Central, 53 to 17, Spalding, 13 to 6, Limestone, 27 to U, and Woodruff, 26 to 13. The football squad earned recog- nition this year for their fine play. Coach Ken Wells and his boys de- serve a lot of credit for this year's fine record. Nine returning lettermen look forward to a season with the same success they had this year. OTBALL sw' MW? Larry Sours Larry Antonini Don Euteneur Aim Craig Thies Q W..
