Indicates lettermen. Last fall a new coach, Mr. Stephens, began coaching a relatively inexperienced (two returning lettermen) cross country squad, which managed to win three dual meets and place creditably in three multi-team affairs. Darrell Oltman, who had never been out for any high school sport before, was Coach Stephens' fastest and most consistent runner. Ronald Schott, a freshman, also looked good. Both of these boys will be available next fall, as will letterman Jim Westervelt. Lettermen Art Lampitt and Ron Faichney, and Ken Craig were the only seniors.
