They compiled a regular season record of ten wins Cincluding two over Cham- paign, perennial Big 12 leadersj against two defeats, both inflicted by two of the state's top five teams, and oddly enough, both on the home mats. The '49 schedule provided a number ofintersectional matches, the top match occurring in Chicago as the Chinks deadlocked mighty Tilden Tech in its own back yard.
