Members of the Stage Guild made elaborate scenery for the opera. “THE CHOCOLATE SOLDIER”, an Oscar Strauss opera, was given by the Music Department under the direction of Mr. Zimmerman There were five choruses including the soldiers, officers, flag bearers, Bulgarian Army and the townspeople in the production; also a ballet and a comic brass band. Suitable costumes for the principals were selected in St. Louis by Mr. Zimmerman.
