Our sponsors this year are Mrs. Baker and Mr. Parker, two of the nicest a class could ever hope to have. The Sophomores had two of their classmates chosen as cheerleaders. They are Jean and Joan Thompson, and Margie O'Bryan was chosen as second alternate. There are eight boys boys on the basketball squad the Sophomore Class. Four of the first five on the second team are: Zink, Naugle, Harvey, and Tunis, with Price, Souder, Hopkins, and Martin as sub- stitutes. Harvey also dresses for the first team. Keep an eye on therng they will be Seniors one of these days. Among other things they were honored to have Rose Marie Gray and Leon Zink chosen as King and Queen of the Junior and Senior Carnival.
