In Hnnur Uf Miss Puwell s Miss Marguerite Powell closes the door of room thirty-one, this June, for the last time, Peekskill High School faculty and students know that they are losing a good friend and faith- ful teacher. Thirty-five years of her life have been given in the service of others and her students love her. She will soon remove from the shelves of her biology room mementoes and specimens from all parts of the World, sent her by grateful former students -concrete evidence that her teachings were not soon forgotten. Miss Powell will continue, always, to teach and guide others. Her intense devotion to her profession and students and her profound wealth of understanding have been invaluable assets to Peekskill High School. The very least we can do, Miss Powell, is wish you happiness in everything you will undertake and say what has been said to you so many times, thank you!
