De Rosso, C. Craig, W. Pisani, Cf. Busse, M. Pelaia. MISS SNYDER Presents CHEERLEADERS Captain WINNIE PISANI C0'Caplain RUTH DGROSSO This year's claque proved to be the peppiest Peekskill High has had. From the bleechers during the football season and from the stands during the basketball season, their cheers consistently added to the excitement of the games and to the morale of our teams. However, the Cheerleaders are important not only for their supporting role. Our squad was highly rated in Cheerleading competitions. It was the result of more than chance that our girls did so well. They practiced long and hard under the direction of their ad- viser, Miss Snyder and their captain, XWinnie Pisani. This, added to their natural abilities and originality, made them our stars.
