CIVIL DEFENSE NVARDENS AND WELFARE AIDS These two groups, working in close connection with the local Civil Defense authorities, have the difficult job of helping to prepare our school and our city for an emergency. During ii drill the wardens are posted in the var- ious danger spots throughout the school. Each must see that no one leaves the school and that no one is in a particularly vulnerable spot, The Civil Defense Wlelfare Aides must help direct the inevitahle evacuees from New York to specified centers throughout Peekskill. These people will then be registered and re-routed for the duration of the emergency.
