BABY SITTERS CLUB P. Reagan, S. Mohlsick, I. Patsey, M. Leake. B. Field, D, Colao, P. Cunane, B. Shutt, M. Duncan. M. A. Hrouda, D. Lynch, Mrs. Hourihan, R. Fullenweider. E. Heleker. M. Mohlsick, M. Hrouda, V. Klepper, G. Scivoletto. Baby Sitters Club is a a group of girls who are interested in minding children. All members are requested to secure a doctor's certificate assuring good health. A character reference is also needed for mem- bership. The girls are trained in the effective and SPEECH safe essentials of baby-sitting by their advisor, Mrs. Hourihan. It is the aim of the club to find as many jobs for the members as possible, at fair wages and hours. Roberta Fullenweider is president, Marilyn Mohlsick is secretary, and Elizabeth Hayes is treasurer. CLUB Front: C. Affron. I. Carter, H. Heineman. I. Graulich, V. Tiso, W. Amory. Standing: I. Marer, I. Kesselman, B. Yudowitz, E. Markham, Miss Holmes, R. Fullenweider, A. Dinnerstein, S. Citron, D. Silver, R. Eisenberg. Speech Club, under the direction of Miss Holmes, meets every Thursday evening. Unique readings, interpretations and discussions are the highlights of these gatherings. They all cen- ter around the main purpose of Speech Club which is to improve individual speech, so that its members may be fully prepared to serve the school and community. Various fund raising activities of Speech Club include a series of successful cake sales, and the sponsoring of movies. Club officers are: President, Iohn Graulich: Vice-President, William Amory: Secretary, Vir- ginia Tiso: Treasurer, Harry Heinemang Attend- ance-taker, Iacqueline Carter.

Peekski1l's quintet started 1950 - 1951 ' playing together as sophomores on the I. V. team. In their junior year they were together on the varsity squad but finished poorly that year with four wins and fourteen defeats.
