IUNIOR COUNCIL The Iunior Council is composed of the Iunior Class Officers, who are: President, Iohn Mohl- sick: Vice President, William Ellis: Secretary. Marie Colao: Treasurer, Albert Baisley: and two representatives from each of the Iunior homerooms. Its work is done under the guid- ance of Miss Meserve. The primary duty of the Iunior Council is to sponsor the selection of a Senior Class Ring. However, this year the Council went beyond its duty and sponsored the selection of a Peekskill High School Ring. To do this the Iunior Council created a joint committee, composed of mem- bers from the junior, sophomore and freshmen classes. SENIOR COUNCIL Senior Council: composed of officers elected by the senior class, faculty members who have chargel of senior home rooms and two representatives from each senior home room . . . has charge of all senior activities, .including Senior Play, Kiddies Day, Senior Prom, Class Day and Commencement. The members of the Council appoint seniors to work on committees for these activities under the sponsorship of a senior advisor. The Council decides the admission charges, and the amount of money to be spent in producing, them. It is advised by Mr. Lindsey. t One of the objectives of the council is to raise a sufficient sum of money to pay for the Sopho- more Class pictures in the yearbook. The Sophomore Class officers are: President, Vincent Corozineg Vice President, William Bu- chanan: Secretary, Marie Babey: Treasurer, Beverly Vogel. The Soda Committee of the Council was appointed to sell soda at all of the Peekskill High School baskebtall games that are played at home.
