Iune, 1950, found us walking along the paths of Peddie for the last time. We had been prepared for a big year when, we returned to Peddie in Sep- tember, 1949, and, indeed, we had a hard year. We were seniors. We were in our educational prime, enjoying prep school life and working steadily toward college. We had our light moments: we had our serious moments. And as the year flew on these moments became memories which we will never forget. We saw the beginning of a new era in expansion at Peddie. We watched student government take a step forward towards increased senior responsibil- ity. We saw the new gymnasium, once a confusing mass of steel qirders, become a living part of Peddie. We saw the chapel grow from a dream io a concrete reminder of the Christian principles Peddie was built to teach. Long after we have ventured forth into a world of uncertainitv of doubt. we will remember and cherish our alma mater E WERE THE SENICRS .
