Sleniozi, garulou '7Q.f To the Senior Class of 1979, Memories, light the corners of my mind. That is the purpose of this new section of the Yearbook. We have tried to highlight some of our more memorable moments at Pecos High School in these pages. It is ten pages, totally devoted to Seniors-their faces, happen- ings, joys, smiles, and sorrows. There, of course, are many, many things that can never be captured with a camera or a pen, but I hope that in this section we have managed to surface memories that are special to us all. The Seniors of '79 have much to remember: A quarter- finalist football team in '76, a regional tennis finalist, various and sundry bomb threats over the years, State tournament baseball teams, proms, plays, Presenta- tions, and so much more. We, as a class, have spent four years together-four years that have been full and busy ones. We came together having been rivals in Ir. High, and we merged into one class: now we will grad- uate as one class. As you all travel onward and leave Pecos High behind, it is my hope that this part of your Yearbook will occasionally bring to mind the good times at P.H.S. And it is my prayer that God may bless you all, and that however far away He leads you, this Yearbook may somehow be a tie with the past, for you can always remember with pride that you were a Sen- ior of '79! With love, A a1.vru.f 21' Editor 1. Rudy Iurado shows Ioel Rodriguez how to use the obviously complicated typewriter. 2. Hope Mendoza looks totally bored with early band. 3. lim Bob McNeil has a lot to contend with, a photographer and Coach Millsaps all at once. 4.
