I Mrs. Shepherd stands proudly during the Pecos High School Alma Mater. KWS kgs cfsclicafs kgs 1979 MW Mrs. Emma Shepherd has taught in Pecos for thirty-three years. During this time she has become one of the finest teach- ers at Pecos High School. Her true dedication to the field of education has made her an example for teachers and students alike. She has shaped the lives of many students, both in the classroom and in working with the Future Teachers of Amer- ica. lt is certain that she will remain in the memories of her stu- dents forever. As she retires at the end of this year, we would like to thank her for caring about our lives and for all her hard work. We are proud to dedicate this yearbook to her.

She is a special teacher to everyone, and it is the extra mile she has gone with her work that makes her so. She has worked with students in U.I.L. math events and has spent many hours helping both jr. high and high school students. She has shown students only the highest moral standards and is an outstanding example to young teachers at Pecos High School. We will all always remember Mrs. Bounds and her work with us. It is with pride that we dedicate this yearbook to her. Mrs. Bounds attends pep-rallies regu larly and is an Eagle supporter.
