Oqssistarzf gufsszirzfarzcfanf Mr. C. W. Wright is now serving in his tenth year as Assistant Superintendent of Pecos Barstow Toyah ISD. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he received his Masters Degree. Mr. Wright is an active member of TSTA and TASA. He and his wife, Pauline, reside at 621 South Plum. They attend the First Presbyterian Church. Business Jlflarzag sz In his twenty-nine years as Business Manager of the Pecos- Barstow-Toyah ISD, Mr. Lewis Cowart has done a fine job. Mr. Cowart is a graduate of North Texas State, where he received his B.B.A. He is a member of TSTA and the Pecos Rotary Club. Mr. Cowart and his wife Ione reside at 1518 Morris and attend the First Baptist Church. Dizacfoz of Alpaciaf Sszviass Mr. H. L. Ramsey is now in his tenth year as Director of Spe- cial Services for the Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD. He is a gradu- ate of Sul Ross State University, having a B.M. degree in Music and an M.Ed. degree in Education. Mr. Ramsey is a member of TSTA and TASA. He and his wife Sue reside at 1750 Iackson Blvd. and attend the First Baptist Church.

Alufzszirzfsrzcfarzt Mr. Ray Whitley, Superin- tendent of Pecos Schools, has held his position since 1945. He has worked to improve the quality of the Pecos-Barstow-Toyah lnde- pendent School District. He works closely with the School Board and the fac- ulty to achieve the highest standard of education possi- ble. Mr. Whitley began his career in Pecos in 1935 as a football coach for Pecos lun- ior High. He took the posi- tion of principal for Pecos Elementary in 1938. He became Superintendent in 1945. Mr. Whitley is an active member of TSTA, TASA, AASA, the Rotary Club, and the Chamber of Commerce. He received his Master of Arts degree from Southwest Texas Teacher's College in San Marcos. Mr. Whitley and his wife Maurine attend the Pres- byterian Church. They have one daughter, Sue Raye Iohnson. Sue Raye gradu- ated from Pecos High School and later from the University of Texas.

She and her husband Gene reside at 2107 Cactus. The Keelys have three children-Ianette, Wesley, and Tim. The Keelys attend the First Baptist Church. Gqcfmin iatmtivs Oqmiafanta The Administrative Assistants are a very impor- tant part of the schools system. These ladies are responsible for a great number of important duties. The ladies who work in the Administration Office are responsible for things concerning the entire school district. Those who work at Pecos Schools have many different jobs.
