42 F oreign Exchange Student Mary Lisa Carrico, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Carrico, is spend- ing a year in the Philippines as a Rotary Foreign Exchange Student. Mary Lisa, a 1977 graduate of Pecos High School, departed for the Phil- ippines in July of 1977. She is attending college in the city of Bac- colaud. She is staying with several different families during the year. Mary Lisa, 18, was the guest speaker at United Nations Day held in a village school. She has also taught twirling during her stay in the Philippines. During their week's stay there, they saw historical sites, attended seminars, met with congressmen. and got to know students from across the United States and foreign countries.
